Summary of Qualification

• Over 10 years of experience in the implementation of BIM/technology, operations, estimating, or related roles.

• Over 25 years of combined CAD drafting and 3D modeling experience in producing Architectural, Engineering and Construction (AEC) drawings covering building projects from inception to completion.

• Ability to build custom Revit templates from scratch or modify out of the box template.

• Ability to create complex 3D models from AutoCAD, Revit and Pro/E.

• Ability to create 4D simulation of planned construction processes using Navisworks and TimeLiner tool.

• Have solid experience in producing design, detailed, construction and shop drawings for HVAC (primary discipline), plumbing/piping, fire protection, electrical works and combined or coordinated services for a variety of building projects like commercial (high rise and mixed-use development), residential, retail, fit out, educational, hospital and clinics, sport facilities, water park, religious buildings, airports (terminals, lounges, baggage handling systems and other facilities), power plants and substations, plantrooms, cleanrooms, government buildings and military facilities.

• Proactively pursues personal development to remain proficient in latest BIM technologies and programs.

• Ability to develop HVAC ductwork, pipe layout and sizing, equipment selection and coordinating services with other discipline.

• Have outline knowledge of eQuest 3.63b and Carrier E20-II (HAP 4.3/4.5) load calculation programs.

• Prior design experience with various building services codes such as ASHRAE, NFPA, IMC, DW/144 and SMACNA (HVAC Duct Construction Standards and HVAC Systems Duct Design).

• BIM standards and protocols knowledge: BIM Level 2, BS 1192:2007, PAS 1192-2:2013, CIC BIM Protocol, AEC UK BIM Protocol, AIA BIM Standards/Protocols, PennState BIM Execution Planning Guide, and Autodesk’s BIM Execution Planning Guide.

• Overseas experience and exposure in USA, Singapore, Qatar, Bahrain, Dubai, Abu Dhabi, India and Diego Garcia - a US Navy Support Facility in British Indian Ocean Territory.
